About
My name is Shannon McDunnell and I'm a mother of two, who after the birth of my first child in 2001 became committed to helping other families through the amazing journey to parenthood.
I am certified as a Labor Doula, Childbirth Educator, Infant Massage Instructor, Lactation Educator, and La Leche League Leader.
I have received my training through the Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association, Doula's of North America, La Leche League International, and The International Association of Infant Massage.
I am currently working towards sitting for the International Board Certification of Lactation Consultants Exam in 2007 as well as pursuing nusing school which is part of my path to becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. I am currently also working as a birth assistant to a Baltimore midwife.
